It’s still hard to believe, but it’s a fact. Period.

I must start by thanking Upshift Online and Mike Gosseelar for vouching for our Triumph Tiger 900 crash bars and skid plate.

I don’t think that Ricky Carmichael needs much introduction. In a nutshell he’s a motocross legend aka the G.O.A.T. and made it the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America. Read the (much) longer and very impressive “resume” on Wikipedia here

Perhaps now you understand why we’re so stoked that Ricky Carmichael rides a Triumph Tiger 900 Rally PRO outfitted with our crash bars and skid plate. It’s something we’ve never dreamed of, but it’s a fact now. We’re still digesting this incredible achievement.

Ricky recently went on an exploration ride in Idaho with Upshift Online and Mike Gosselaar and summed his experience riding an “ADV” bike. Better yet, he gave us a shoutout!

Screenshot of the “special shoutout” moment (at 6:38) and the full video link are below:

To spice things up, Upshift Online released an issue with the full scoop on the story as well as world class photography. Read the article or just enjoy the breathtaking photos here in Issue 61

There’s no doubt that Ricky will bring more attention to the adventure/dualsport segment. There’s also very little doubt that he’ll be putting our products through the wringer!

Furthermore, if you’re not aware of it yet, Ricky Carmichael is now helping Triumph to develop their new line of dirt bikes! Check the news from Triumph. It’ll be interesting to see what Triumph will come up with, but it sounds and looks like their intentions are very serious.
