The toughest aluminium panniers are here and they are the first step to acquiring the ultimate luggage set-up! They are ready to secure your valuables and give you the peace of mind you deserve when you are exploring the world!
When we were designing the aluminium panniers, our number one priority was backcountry compatibility. Thus, we opted for a narrow and tall design, instead of a short and wide design. So, depending on the pannier rack system that you are currently using, the top of the aluminum panniers may rest above the pillion seat.
Our cases feature Mosko Moto's proven wedge-mount system for easy mounting and dismounting, alongside some (optional) extra accessories for a complete and versatile luggage system.
Please note: The latch locking mechanism on the aluminium panniers might initially feel tighter than expected. This is considered normal, and it'll become smoother with use and over time.

X-Frame: the Ducati DesertX are the most universal and functional side pannier frames yet, allowing simple, secure mounting of Rotopax, hard panniers and soft luggage.
Standard: The difference between our standard pannier racks and the X-Frames is that the standard frames don’t feature RotoPax mounts and tabs welded on all four corners. However, there’s the option to purchase Rotopax brackets separately on our website.

This combo package consists of our crash bars combo and our skid plate, which will catch your bike on drops and tip overs. This combo has a long list of components which it protects, but instead of listing them here, we decided to record a drop test video to show you.
We have also developed a water pump cover and a headlight guard which can (and should) be purchased as well!

Our skid plate is fully frame mounted thanks to a specially designed bracket that supports both the skid plate and the crash bars. Off-roading is more fun when you do not have to worry about dropping or tipping your bike over. Keep exploring knowing that all the sensitive and exposed parts of your Desert X can be much safer! The water pump guard does not only protect the water pump from drops and tip overs, it also protects it from trailside objects such as rocks, stumps, and logs, by deflecting them out of your path. We consider this to be a critical piece of the protection equation for the Ducati Desert X.
