We Attempted to Destroy our Aluminum Panniers – With Full Video Proof

Initially we weren’t going to do anything rough with our hard cases, just promote them as light usage touring accessories. However, many people on social media commented that they’d like to know how tough they are as many similar aluminum panniers dent or warp too easily.

After a couple of meetings and discussions with our team we decided to go for something no other company had ever gone for: send the hard cases through a series of brutal torture tests!

The drop test was the first idea, since we’ve already been drop testing our crash bars since 2014. How about the rest?

Well, we wanted some serious weight placed on the lid. We also wanted to hit the sidewalls pretty hard. Finally we wanted something that was just going to be for fun, yet something spectacular.
