What do we picture in our heads when Morocco comes up as a topic? Sand dunes, deserted rocky terrain, oasis and the Atlas Mountain range.

Perhaps that’s what makes it so attractive for tourists. If you’re into off-roading then you must know that it’s a paradise! After all, probably the longest section of the former Dakar Rally in Africa took place in Morocco.
Not that long ago, just before the pandemic kicked in, we had managed to fulfill a neat project with a BMW certified tour company. The goal was to outfit Wheels of Morocco‘s fleet of BMW F750/850GS and 1200/1250GS motorcycles with our crash bars and skid plates.
While it’s cool to fly over to Morocco for such prestigious project, it’d be a shame not to take some bikes out to indulge in the backcountry of Morocco.
