As it’s been a decade now that we drop (and drag) test our crash bars. The new Suzuki Vstrom 800DE is no exception!
Camera roll and… action! We set the bar high again with the newest crash bars test, which also marks motorcycle #21 since 2014. We’re ruthless in our execution tactics. This time we tied our Vstrom 800DE to a Toyota Tundra (V8, baby!) and let it rip.
Two different types of terrain and four drops in total. One on each side, just to please the most skeptical viewers. So, we “laid ‘er down” on gravel and asphalt.
We also used various cameras, which we set up in various places to get the best angles. Also, we topped it off by mounting a microphone directly on the bike. No background music, just that raw, screeching sound of the bike being dragged after impact. It’s pop corn time!
