Description
Crash Bars
- Quality 27mm/1.06″ steel tube with 2mm wall thickness.
- Stamp of approval – Built to protect and most importantly, tested to perform! These crash bars proved their worthiness through the drop test videos.
- Less is more. The design is based on the philosophy that less is more, hence we created a compact and sturdy set of crash bars that stay close to the mounting points. This system perfectly complements the sporty, aggressive lines of the Super Tenere
- Powder coated – Combined with sandblasting, it’s a killer combination to protect the product’s surface. No frills, and tough just like your Super Tenere!

Skid Plate
- Protects crucial engine components – The oil pan, oil cooler, oil filter, engine case, water pump, and exhaust headers, compose a long list of very expensive parts you do not want to expose to any damage that could potentially end your ride and leave you stranded.
- Uniquely designed vent system – Not only unique, but very-well thought out! No unnecessary holes were designed on this skid plate. As a result your engine is less likely to overheat when mud and other debris from off-roading get stuck between the skid plate and the engine/exhaust header.
- 5mm thick laser cut aluminum – Nothing is ever overkill on an adventure bike, hence we chose to build this skid plate from this ridiculously tough and thick, yet lightweight material.
- Tough mounting points – No cutting corners here (either)! We used precise laser cut pieces for perfect fitment using 5mm thick metal mounts. These parts absorb the impact from drops and tip overs instead of your bike’s chassis.
- Powder coated – Combined with sandblasting, it’s a killer combination to protect the product’s surface. No frills, and tough just like your Super Tenere!
Skid Plate Compatibility
Compatible with 2010-2024 models.
Outback Motortek Crash Bars must be installed in order to mount the skid plate.
The skid plate cannot be mounted with other aftermarket or OEM Yamaha crash bars.

The Adventure Moto/Outback Motortek X-Frames for the Yamaha XT1200Z Super Tenere are the most universal and functional side pannier frames yet, allowing simple, secure mounting of Rotopax, hard panniers and soft luggage.
We also offer standard pannier racks. The difference between our standard pannier racks and the X-Frames is that the standard frames don’t feature RotoPax mounts and tabs welded on all four corners.

Great quality and reasonable price. Missing holes for oil drain access, you need to remove the whole skiplate for service.
