Yamaha XT1200Z Super Tenere – Skid Plate

• Protects crucial engine components – The oil pan, oil cooler, oil filter, engine case, water pump, and exhaust headers, compose a long list of very expensive parts you do not want to expose to any damage that could potentially end your ride and leave you stranded.
• Uniquely designed vent system – Not only unique, but very-well thought out! No unnecessary holes were designed on this skid plate. As a result your engine is less likely to overheat when mud and other debris from off-roading get stuck between the skid plate and the engine/exhaust header.
• 5mm thick laser cut aluminum – Nothing is ever overkill on an adventure bike, hence we chose to build this skid plate from this ridiculously tough and thick, yet lightweight material.
• Tough mounting points – No cutting corners here (either)! We used precise laser cut pieces for perfect fitment using 5mm thick metal mounts. These parts absorb the impact from drops and tip overs instead of your bike’s chassis.
• Powder coated – Combined with sandblasting, it’s a killer combination to protect the product’s surface. No frills, and tough just like your Super Tenere!
