One of the biggest advantages of our upper crash bars for the KTM 1090/1190/1290 Adventure R / S is the non-floating design. To achieve this, we developed a heavy-duty bracket to support the upper section of the crash bars, which reinforces it and avoids flexing and collapsing during impact from drops and tip overs!

Description

Hand MIG welded – It’s all about the strength! We continue to follow our philosophy: toughness and functionality over appearance.
22mm steel tube with 2mm wall thickness – Matches the specs of the specs of the factory KTM crash bars.
Less is more – One of our goals was to preserve the low centre of gravity of the KTM 1090/1190/1290(R) Adventure so we used the same tubing diameter as the KTM factory crash bars.
Tough mounting points – No cutting corners here (either)! We used precise laser cut pieces for perfect fitment using 5mm thick metal mounts. These parts absorb the impact from drops and tip overs instead of your bike’s chassis.
Powder coated – Combined with sandblasting, it’s a killer combination to protect the product’s surface. No frills, and tough just like your KTM 1090/1190/1290 Adventure R/S!

Compatibility

OEM Lower Crash Bars must be installed in order to install our upper crash bars on the 2017-2020 1090 R/1290 R.

S models must be equipped with OEM lower crash bars.

2015-2016 1190R/S models only.

Not compatible with earlier 1190 models since the OEM KTM crash bars are located approximately 25mm/1” lower.

Compatible with TripleClamp Moto HeadStraight.

Quality is excellent, fitting them was fairly easy and didn’t have any issues. Excellent communication and technical support, Lorry replied to my emails immediately. My only gripe would be the slight colour mismatch with the factory crash bars. Overall very happy with OM.

They are very nice. already used them twice, only lateral low speed falls, no bending just scratches. minimum diference in color to the opriginal. I didn’t like the screws. They could be better quality and looks.
