When that time comes, you will be glad to have our skid plate equipped, which will protect the engine and its surrounding components like the engine case, exhaust header, and oil pan on drops and tip overs. In order to properly test this skid plate and the Crash Bars we decided to ride parts of the Spanish and Italian Trans Euro Trail.

Description
- Protects crucial engine components – The oil pan, engine case, and the exhaust headers compose a long list of very expensive parts you do not want to expose to any damage that could potentially end your ride and leave you stranded.
- True off-road and adventure shape – We avoid designing skid plates that have a rectangular shape and sharp edges and corners that are guaranteed to restrict your off road rides. This skid plate is specifically designed to tackle obstacles and unconventional trails to help you to explore more!
- 4mm thick laser cut aluminum – Nothing is ever overkill on an adventure bike, hence we chose to build this skid plate from this ridiculously tough and thick, yet lightweight material.
- Tough mounting points – No cutting corners here (either)! We used precise laser cut pieces for perfect fitment using 5mm thick metal mounts. These parts absorb the impact from drops and tip overs instead of your bike’s chassis.
- Powder coated – Combined with sandblasting, it’s a killer combination to protect the product’s surface. No frills, and tough just like your KTM 690 Enduro R!

We wanted to preserve the simplicity and light weight of the KTM 690 Enduro R / SMC R so we decided to keep it simple and effective through a frame mounted design that proved itself to be reliable against drops and tip overs. We tested the crash bars and the Skid Plate on some gnarly sections of the Spanish and Italian Trans Euro Trail!
