Lower Crash Bars
- Quality 27mm/1.06″ steel tube with 2mm wall thickness – Strong enough to withstand the impact when your heavy motorcycle falls on its side! Our crash bars will take the beat and catch your bike when it falls.
- One of the biggest advantages of our crash bars is the all around 27mm diameter tubing that rests on 4mm and 5mm thick steel mounting tabs which offers reliable protection for the fairing and the radiator.
- Hand MIG welded – It’s all about the strength! We continue to follow our philosophy: toughness and functionality over appearance.
- Less is more – The design is based on the philosophy that less is more, hence we created a compact and sturdy set of crash bars that stay close to the mounting points. This system perfectly complements the sporty, aggressive lines of the Africa Twin.
- Powder coated – Combined with sandblasting, it’s a killer combination to protect the product’s surface. No frills, and tough just like your Africa Twin!
Lower Crash Bars Compatibility
2024 model year products fit on 2024+ and 2020-2023 CRF1100 Standard and Adventure Sports models.
Compatible with both OEM Standard and Adventure Sports skid plates.
Engine Case Guards
- Entirely frame mounted using 4mm and 5mm steel tabs for maximum strength
- Protects crucial engine components like the stator, clutch cover, and last but not least, the engine case!
- Crash bars reinforcement – The engine guard is mounted onto the crash bars through a reinforcement bar.
- 27mm diameter tubing – Handles the weight of the bike under impact (crash).
- Sandblasted and powder coated surface – Simple and tough coating that lasts.
Engine Case Guards Compatibility
Outback Motortek Lower Crash Bars must be installed in order to install the Engine Case Guards.
Compatible with 2020-2024 Standard and Adventure Sports models.
Compatible with both DCT and manual transmission models.
NOT compatible with DCT foot shifter pedal.
Compatible with Adventure Sports OEM skid plate after performing the following minor modifications.
Skid Plate
- Protects crucial engine components – The oil pan, oil cooler, oil filter, engine case, and the exhaust headers compose a long list of very expensive parts you do not want to expose to any damage that could potentially end your ride and leave you stranded.
- Uniquely designed vent system – Not only unique, but very-well thought out! No unnecessary holes were designed on this skid plate. As a result your engine is less likely to overheat when mud and other debris from off-roading get stuck between the skid plate and the engine/exhaust header.
- True off-road and adventure shape – We avoid designing skid plates that have a rectangular shape and sharp edges and corners that are guaranteed to restrict your off road rides. This skid plate is specifically designed to tackle obstacles and unconventional trails to help you to explore more!
- 4mm thick laser cut aluminium – Lightweight, yet thick and strong to withstand potential damage!

Outback Motortek Lower Crash Bars must be installed in order to install the Skid Plate.
Compatible with both DCT and manual transmission models.
Compatible with OEM centre stand.
Please note: We do not guarantee compatibility with any aftermarket exhaust headers/manifolds due to the different shapes and designs carried out by dozens of exhaust manufacturer companies. At the moment, we only guarantee fitment with OEM Honda CRF1100L Standard and Adventure Sports exhaust header/manifold. Thank you for your understanding.
