Lower Crash Bars

Quality 27mm/1.06″ steel tube with 2mm wall thickness.
Hand MIG welded – It’s all about the strength! We continue to follow our philosophy: toughness and functionality over appearance.
Powder coated – combined with sandblasting it’s a killer combination to protect your product’s surface. No frills and tough just like your ADV/Dual Sport bike!
Tough mounting points – No cutting corners here (either)! Precision laser cut pieces for perfect fitment using 5mm thick metal mounts. These parts absorb a lot of impacts from crashes, rather than your bikes chassis.

Upper Crash Bars

Hand MIG welded – It’s all about the strength! We continue to follow our philosophy: toughness and functionality over appearance.
Quality 25mm/1″ steel tube with 2mm wall thickness
Tough mounting points – No cutting corners here (either)! Precision laser cut pieces for perfect fitment using 4 and 5mm thick metal mounts. These parts absorb a lot of impacts from crashes, rather than your bikes chassis
Powder coated – combined with sandblasting it’s a killer combination to protect your product’s surface. No frills and tough just like your Big GSA!

Compatibility

Lower Crash Bars:

Compatible with 2019-2023 BMW R 1250 GS / GSA.

Compatible with GSA model without the OEM upper crash bars.

This product is model specific, thus we supply lower crash bars marked accordingly.

Not compatible with Option 719 Billet cylinder covers.

The Outback Motortek lower crash bars are NOT compatible with the “40th Anniversary” BMW R 1250 GS and BMW R 1250 GSA models. This is due to the Option 719 cylinder cover installed by the factory. The rest of the models are not affected.

Upper Crash Bars:

Compatible with 2019-2023 BMW R 1250 GSA.

Not compatible with R 1250 GS.

Outback Motortek lower crash bars must be installed in order to install the upper crash bars.

Much better than original crash bars. Had several drops on my GSA 1250 while participating in local races. Do not expect that these crash bars are 100% damage resistant – had to bend it back in local garage to avoid contact with cylinder heads. Key downside is fog lamp mount. It bends on almost every drop – moved it closer to engine
