The Outback Motortek X-Frame racks for the KLX300 are the most universal and functional side pannier frames yet, allowing simple, secure mounting of hard panniers and soft luggage as well as some accessories like a tool box or a small fuel canister.
We also offer Standard pannier racks. The difference between our standard pannier racks and the X-Frames is that the standard frames don’t feature the X-Bracket mounts and tabs welded on all four corners.

We've designed a highly functional rear rack for the KLX300. Edge holes that are large enough for technically any tie down strap or bungee cord, to help you secure a bag, tent, etc. on it.
We've also laser cut some extra holes on top that allow you to directly mount a fuel or water canister without any modification. Read some specs and features of this product below.

We have added holes that are large enough for a multitude of tie down straps or bungee cords to help you secure your equipment. If that was not enough, we also added laser cut holes so you can directly mount RotoPax fuel or water cans without further modification. Additionally, having a rear luggage rack will free up the rear space for a passenger or even more carrying capacity if you are looking to turn camping into glamping!

The new X-Frame sliding "X" plate design allows our tool box here to be installed on the inside both with the X-Frame version and standard pannier racks. For standard pannier racks, 1x "X" bracket must be purchased separately in order to install our tool box.

We have designed a universal lockable tool box designed to fit and keep all your tools in one place! You can mount it on either side of pannier racks as long as they have an X-Bracket, or you can mount it on the rear luggage rack! Both of these systems use the Rotopax mounting bracket, which is what makes it universal.
