We towed a BMW R1300GS with a pick up truck to test our crash bars

Those of you who are familiar with our way of testing Outback Motortek crash bars shouldn’t be surprised.


However, there was a twist. Actually two. The first drop and drag attempt didn’t go to plan. The 3rd one ended up showing a weak point on the crash bars.

I won’t drag this post out too long (no pun intended). If pictures are worth a thousand words, then videos are worth a million. We assembled an eight minutes video featuring four drops altogether. Twice on gravel and two on rough surface pavement.
