This was a hard one. Although leading up to our crash bars tests it’s never easy. Still it’s a brand new BMW GS!

Having said that we’ve been committed to abusing crash bars for a decade designed and made by Outback Motortek. Hence this one was a hard and somewhat emotional one. Not only did we hit a milestone, but we went really hard on the 12 G/S crash bars!

Why is it a milestone? We reached crash bars test #25! It’s been an insanely awesome run since 2014 when we first made a Suzuki Vstrom 650 hit the ground a couple of times.

Long story short, our BMW R 12 G/S headed to the hills! We decided to push and let go of it on a gravel downhill full of embedded fist size rocks and then chose a paved road with some slope and a highly abrasive asphalt surface.
